Copywriting Tips - The Right Tools For the Right Job

My dad used to tell me when I was growing up and trying to figure out the difference between a hammer and a screwdriver, that you need to have the right tools for the right job. This applies to hand tools and it also applies to the tools that copywriters use. Oh yes, copywriters have more than just their words to go to war with when writing copy. In this article, I'm going to cover just a few of the tools that any copywriter worth his salt packs in his toolkit. Make sure you have these in yours.

At the very top of my toolkit list is a headline analyzer and creator. Coming up with great headlines for your copy is critical to making sales. Why? Well, you may or may not know this but your headline is going to account for about 80% of your sales. The reason for this is very simple. If a prospect sees your headline and it doesn't get them excited, they're not going to take the time to read the rest of the copy. If they don't read the rest of the copy, no sale. It's that simple. So having a headline creation tool is key to success.

Next on the list is my swipe file. If you don't know what a swipe file is, it's a file that contains various pieces of copy. These could be headlines, guarantees, closings, just about anything. Why are swipe files important? Well, for several reasons. The main one is that these pieces of copy, if the swipe file is a good one, are pieces that have proven to work. By incorporating them into YOUR sales letter, you will greatly improve the effectiveness of it. This is the main reason why a swipe file is so important.

Finally, another big part of my tool kit, we have the odds and ends. These can be a number of things. One of my favorites is the interactive Johnson box. This is a piece of software that makes it so that based on what your prospect puts into the box, when asked specific questions, a certain piece of copy will appear later on in the sales letter. This is really cool and effective if used properly.

If you're missing any of these things in YOUR toolkit, you might want to check out the review in my signature. I think you'll find it has everything you need.

If you're going to go to war as a copywriter, don't leave home without your toolkit.

To YOUR Success,

Steven Wagenheim

Self-Publishing - One Writer's Experience

Self-publishing still has a stigma attached to it, especially in the world of traditional publishing companies and literary agents. But, in the world of writers it is slowly becoming a means to an end. The amount of manuscripts editors and agents are bombarded with seems to be increasing every year. This, in turn, gives authors less of a fighting chance to grab that golden publishing ring.

For various reasons, I took the less traveled path and chose to venture into the world of self-publishing. You see, I wrote a lullaby over 30 years ago for my children when they were babies. They were difficult to get to sleep and then would wake during the night. I sang this lullaby over and over and over. Now, we sing it to my grandson. My daughter thought I should turn it into a children's bedtime story. Since it was a family project I felt a print-on-demand company would be best.

I researched several companies including Mayfair, RoseDog, Xlibris, AuthorHouse and BookSurge, Morris Publishing and Bookstand Publishing. I even created a spreadsheet comparing each company and the services they offered along with the prices. This is easy enough to do and it gives you a quick view of who offers what. What was very interesting, to me anyway, is that the companies who quote ala carte prices list the service of copyright for $170.00. If you do this yourself, it is $45.00. So, it is important to research what services you can do yourself. Also, when looking these companies over, don't forget to ask if you retain the rights to your book and if you have control over setting the retail price of the book. One of the companies I researched created the retail price and it would have been around $20. There is no way a bedtime story from an unknown author would sell for that amount.

Finally, make sure the sales rep and management are on the same page. The first company I chose was AuthorHouse. The sale rep quoted me a price, I signed a contract and then he came back to me and told me management wouldn't agree to that price. He offered me higher price for the same package which I accepted and signed another contract only to be told by the agent that management wouldn't back that price either. He came up with a third offer, but it was all just too unprofessional for me. It's possible that this situation was an isolated case, but always check and re-check. I was an assistant controller of a manufacturing company and if management didn't back their sales reps we'd have been run out of business.

Writer's Block Part Two - Outside the Box

If I'm struggling a little with any of my projects project, I also opt for some writing tasks unrelated to my current novel, such as writing articles like this one, but also e mails, planning out another story, creating a new word search puzzle for my website, making changes to my online pages, editing blog entries, sending invoices and other paperwork to schools or libraries in advance of an author visit or other general marketing, advertising and promotional work. Once I am actually tapping away at the keyboard, it eventually seems to get the creative juices flowing again. It's also a good idea to walk away from the computer every once in a while, just to take a break from your writing. I often work elsewhere in the house, such as at the kitchen table, for example, when I'm preparing a new workshop or residency, writing an outline and so on, usually with pen and paper. This can also involve editing a manuscript, if I'm at that point in the process and I need to see the novel on paper, so I often print off a copy and go elsewhere, away from the computer, simply for a change of scenery. I will also sometimes head to a coffee shop or some other similar establishment, working for several hours and invariably return home feeling refreshed. As writers, we spend so much time at our desks, engrossed in our projects and it's a good idea to take a break and recharge your batteries once in a while.

To combat the dreaded writer's block, another idea is to engage in non-writing activities and just walk away for a while. It might seem perhaps overly simple, but you'd be surprised at the ideas that come to mind or the clutter that can be removed from your thoughts when out walking the dog, for example. And even if you don't have a dog, get out in the fresh air and blow away those cobwebs. Maybe try driving whilst running errands, doing laundry or other housework, yard work in the summer or raking leaves in the fall. Meditating or relaxation exercises may ease the stress associated with the temporary impasse with your writing. Perhaps you also pursue other artistic endeavors like painting, completely unconnected to your usual projects, but this again may stimulate your creativity. You could even attempt something out of the ordinary or merely try something that is a genuinely new experience for you. If your particular writer's block has resulted in a lack of new ideas, attempts to spark creativity by going somewhere new or doing something different could prove very worthwhile. Reading, watching movies or plays, listening to music or similar activities might also bring inspiration.

Writing, particularly of fiction, can be a lonely experience, and spending too much time alone in front to the computer can make writers prone to depression. In addition, too much caffeine, lack of sleep, not enough exercise or neglecting your diet will sooner or later adversely affect your health, which will in turn damage your creativity. Writing is often a solitary occupation, but you don't have to live like a hermit. If you prefer not to join a critique group or some other writer's organization, be sure to occasionally meet up with friends for coffee or dinner, to chat about something unrelated to writing. The change of scene will most likely do you the world of good and who knows, inspiration may even strike in the most unlikely settings.

Social Wellness and World Peace Issues - President Barack Obama - Spiritual Meanings of Numbers Pt 1

Caught up in all the issues of the US primary and presidential campaigns, I missed one important element in the entire karmic set-up of this specific election. The position sought was the job of being the 44th President of the United States, emphasis for this article being the forty-fourth.

What is so important with being the forty-fourth President?

It turns out that there are several points to consider about America and its place in the world at this time in history from the point of view of the spiritual significance of numbers.

I will leave the discussion of Barack Obama being the reincarnation of Abraham Lincoln to another article but firstly, forty-four breaks down to the single digit eight when both numbers are added.

Theory and Application of the Spiritual Meaning of Numbers - Eight

Eight is the number of heavy karma. If you are born on the eighth day of the month or your given or preferred name that you use daily reduces to eight, it means that you have extremely important work to do that needs to move forward now.

This is because previous Soul work remained undone and there is now an extra burden of issues to work through and solve in the given time frame. The extra karmic eight vibration helps to ensure that the Soul work to be done in that particular time is in fact accomplished.

With the sweeping electoral victory and the intense, joyful reaction around the world to the election of Barack Obama, it may be fair to say that the majority of American and global citizens feel that Barack Obama has received a critically urgent mandate to manifest the change that was the theme of his campaign.

His supporters may also argue that these issues have become even more critical because of the lack of progress made on them in preceding presidencies.

Change, massive doses of it, to transform important issues that deal with social wellness on the economic, health, educational, regulatory, international and other levels are promised, expected and will be the main criteria upon which the performance of the presidency of Barack Obama will be judged by.

Spiritual Significance of Numbers For Barack Obama Presidency Conclusion

Forty-four, reduced to the number eight, signifying heavy issues, not previously dealt with adequately, that must now be urgently addressed. The destiny of America's place in the world as a leader in the creation of global progress, harmony, worldwide economic, social, educational and political freedom, justice and peace is at stake.

Believing In Yourself

Saul of Taursus - Notable Lifetimes of the Ascended Masters

Saul of Taursus is a pivotal figure in the early formation of the Christian church. His conversion and resulting new life as Paul, author of many key writings and letters in the New Testament, are some of most well-known events in Christianity. His views and opinions have shaped Christianity for over two thousand years.

Saul of Tarsus was a determined persecutor of Christians, originally seeing them as a rebellious faction and a danger to the government and society. He consented to the stoning of St. Stephen, the first martyr of the Christian church. Although they were alive during overlapping time periods, Saul never met Jesus in person.

After the death and resurrection of Jesus, Saul was traveling on the road to Damascus when a vision of Jesus appeared to him, saying, "It is hard for thee to kick against the pricks." Saul was temporarily blinded after this vision. Saul took the name Paul, and resolved to spread the word of truth throughout the Mediterranean and the Middle East. Three years after his conversion, Paul spent three years in seclusion in the Arabian Desert. Some believe he was in communication with Jesus through visions and meditation during this time.

Paul worked tirelessly to spread Christianity for the rest of his life. Many people believe that Paul achieved sainthood in that lifetime. Others believe that he needed additional lifetimes to perfect himself and atone for his responsibility for the torture of Christians. Those who believe that Paul needed additional lifetimes now acknowledge him as Hilarion, the master of the fifth ray of healing.

Writer Should Have a Website

When you want to know something about your favorite celebrity, company or product what is the first thing that you do? If you're anything like me, you will head straight to your closest computer and hop online to see what you can find. Millions of people do this exact same thing every single day of the week and that is the easiest and most excellent reason that every writer, especially those of us who would like their name to be known, should have a website.

#1: For Contact Purposes - If someone needs to contact you - a fan, someone interested in hiring you, someone wanting to purchase something you have written, etc. - the easiest way for them to find you, if they don't already know you personally, is by searching for your name online. If you already have a website then they will be more likely to find you and a way to contact you. You should always have some sort of contact information on your website. You don't have to list your complete mailing address with home phone number. Just add an email address and you will be set.

#2: To Showcase All of Your Work in One Place - Most writers will have work in numerous locations, both online and off, so having a website will help you to showcase all of your work in one location. You can show everyone who visits your site exactly where they can find things that you have written. It is much easier to give people one single website address, that leads them straight to your website, over trying to give them the numerous site addresses, that lead to all of the work you have out there in the world.

#3: For Business Cards - There is a common item when it comes to business cards, website addresses. Sure they have the person's name and maybe even their phone number, but one of the most common additions to a business card is the person's website address. The majority of people would prefer to check out your information online before they would bother calling you on the phone. Once you have created your own website, be sure to add the address to your business cards.

#4: For Fan Interest - Last, but not least, you can think about fan interest. Sure, you may think that you don't have fans, or you will never have fans, but you never know. If you have people reading your work then you can almost always ascertain that you have at least one or two fans in that group. A fan-base does not happen over night. It takes time to build up a following and when that happens your fans will want a place that is all about you. Fans enjoy reading about their favorite writers/authors. You never know when something of yours will explode on the web and send thousands of page views in your direction.

Some of you may be worried about the expense of having your own website. Well, I can tell you right now that the expense far outweighs the benefits. You can purchase your domain name for only a few dollars per year. I purchased mine, ChristieSilvers.com for only $7.95 per year and have been thrilled with that purchase ever since. There are numerous places to purchase domain names very cheaply, all you have to do is search for them and compare prices.

I also have hosting for my website on Yahoo! Geocities. I have found their site to be one of the all-time easiest sites to work with when it comes to building your own website and their prices are very reasonable - FREE and up. There are nearly just as many web hosting sites online as there are domain purchasing sites, so just keep looking until you find the one that is right for you.

Having your own website doesn't have to be a huge ordeal. You don't have to have some extravagant site filled with flash graphics and web forms. All you need is a nice, organized place to share with the world. Good luck out there, to all of us!

Experts Disagree on Definition of Writer's Block

Most writers do not have a definition for writers block and yet they seem to know it when they feel it. Even worse off is most experts disagree on the definition of writer's block. Currently I have written 8642 articles and place them online making me the all-time most prolific writer of online articles.

Another well-respected writer Mr. Steven Barnes, who has among other things published over three million words of fiction, been nominated for Hugo and Nebula Awards, and wrote the Emmy-winning "A Stitch In Time" episode of the Outer Limits, not to mention having been the creator of the Lifewriting high performance system for writers believes that writer's block definition should be this;

Writer's block is the inability to:

1) Produce new text.

2) Edit and polish existing text

3) Finish projects on a reasonable schedule

4) Send those projects out for editorial judgment.

5) Continue sending them out until they are sold or published.

Where as Mr. Steven Barnes has been writing for a very long time and may be correct about that, I beg to differ with his views and believe that writer's block should not be defined and each and every writer should deny its existence. I can tell you this having written between 5,800 and 16,800 words per day for the last 20 months straight that if I believed in writer's block and accepted that as a problem then there is no way I could have written this much.

I assume that great writers like Mr. Steven Barnes would not be able to write as much either if they suffer from what many writers call writer's block. There is no doubt that Mr. Steven Barnes is a great writer and there is no doubt that he does not suffer from anything called writers block.

My definition of writer's block is this; A pure fantasy inside a writer's head; which prevents them from writing because they think there's something wrong. I think I'm going to go with my definition rather than Mr. Steven Barnes because I cannot afford to accept writers block or anything which might slow down my writing. I would encourage all new writers to also take the same tact as me and deny the existence of writer's block. Please consider this in 2006.

Lin Carter The Science Fiction Writer

Here was a man who lived to write, I mean, and I really mean, he lived to write, and did he write, yes indeed, he wrote about 115-books (plus three chapbooks), and his style was that of his hero writers such as Edger Rice Burroughs, Robert E. Howard, H.P. Lovecraft, Clark A. Smith and L. Sprague de Camp. And he loved himself, so he put himself in his books, why not, if you don't love yourself, who will? Not a bad group to have for his genre company.

In pure volume, he perhaps has out-written all of those writers combined, I just mentioned (I know ERB wrote about 80-books himself). Some folks would not agree to his quality of writings, but then if they liked the authors I just mentioned above, well, Carter can't be too far off.

He died at 57-years old, had oral cancer for a while, got therapy, and got the cancer back, but now with alcoholism, yes he had the monkey on his back.

He attended one of the noble universities in the United States, Columbia, and was a war veteran of Korea, not a bad combination, rather good I'd say. He belonged to many a Science Fiction clubs, or groups, which seemed to keep him busy, and perhaps his wife. Born in 1930, died in 1988; actually, prior to his first book, in 1965, which was "The Wizard of Lemuria," which he rewrote in 1969, a thicker book, with a longer title: In addition, he wrote three chapbooks prior, the third being in 1959, called "A Letter to Judith."

Of his many books, he finished Howard's tales on Conan, and in 1975, had a book of poetry released. I don't want to judge this man on his writings, and there is a reason for that, and there has been many who have, negatively so, saying he was a copycat, and that he had dull plots, and so forth.

Pushing this all aside, I think the problem was, he didn't care to be an original, he just wanted to jump into space and off he went, and if Burroughs or Howard or H.P. wanted to come along (in his mind) well, all the better.

Incidentally, to my understanding, he had 15,000 books in his library, that to me is a bookstore.

Freelance Writing Online

Never before has it been this easily to earn a sizable income as a freelance writer. The internet has exponentially exploded not only the number of places where writers can submit their writing, but more importantly, the number of people looking to hire capable writers. The internet is a huge beast that requires fresh content (i.e. writing) on a daily basis, and millions of websites and media outlets spend enormous sums of money to keep the beast fed.

If you can write interesting and compelling articles and blog posts, it is not unrealistic to expect to earn a very comfortable living working as a freelance writer creating content for websites. This article will cover three steps you can take today to start your career as an online freelance writer.

1. Write Everyday

By this I mean, post something online every day. This can be as simple as starting a free WordPress or Blogger blog and posting to it daily. Make your posts a few hundred words in length and make them about thoughtful topics. You want these posts to showcase your writing as its best.

There are several reasons to write every day. A few of the more important reasons include:

  • To earn a decent living as freelance writer online you are going to need to be working on paying jobs everyday, so you might as well get into the practice of writing everyday, even if at first you are not getting paid (or paid a smaller amount).
  • As mentioned above, writing everyday creates a portfolio. There will come a day when a potential client wants to see examples of your writing. Being able to direct them to a site that you have contributed to regularly not only showcases your writing, but also demonstrates that you are able to maintain a discipline of writing regularly. Your online posts are your business card, make sure they represent you well.
  • Writing everyday is the discipline of exceptional writers, especially online writers. Start this discipline today. Chances are it is either going to be easy at first and then get difficult, or it is going to be hard right from the start. Either way, it's going to get difficult eventually and if you plan to write for a living you need to learn to get through the hard times as soon as possible.

2. Network With Other Freelance Writers

Online forums are a great place to get know other freelance writers. Make it a point to find at least one forum, or section of a forum, that is populated by active freelance writers. Join the forum and start participating.

There are many benefits to getting to know others in this business and networking with them on a regular basis. As you run into questions, you will have a valuable resource from which to seek answers. As you start to develop relationships with other writers, you may find unexpected writing opportunities. For example, someone on the forum may be looking for a guest blogger on a particular topic that you know very well. The person is more likely to offer the opportunity to you if they know you and are familiar with your writing.

Forums are also how most freelance writers post referrals for jobs and assignments they are not able to accept. For example, a writer who focuses primarily on banking and finance topics may have a client who is looking for a fitness writer. This writer is likely to let the the forum know about this fitness opportunity since he knows the client can trust the caliber of the other writers on the forum. Or, perhaps if the writer knows of a particular fitness writer that he trusts, he will refer the fitness writer directly to the client.

Forums are also a great way to get your name out. Most forums allow you to use some sort of signature line with a link to a website. If you are writing online everyday (see #1 above), forums are an excellent way to get visitors to your website. These are just a few examples of how forums can be great resources.

3. Start Bidding on Jobs

There are hundreds of online job boards that are updated daily with new requests for freelance writers. Find several of these boards and check them daily. (Time Saver: If the job board has an RSS feed, set up an RSS feed reader to collect all of these job postings in one place for easier checking.) When you find jobs that you are well-suited for, apply for them.

It is especially important in the beginning to develop a stellar reputation. Ideally, you want to be able to turn your first few clients into long-term clients, or at least be able to use them as an outstanding reference or testimonial. Make sure that the first few jobs that you bid on are ones that you can complete ahead of deadline with the highest quality. It is better to bid on fewer jobs and do great work than bid on several jobs that end up just OK. Your first few jobs are crucial to your success, so pick them wisely and submit exceptional work.

Freelance writing is an outstanding way to earn a living online. Now you have three steps to start you on your way to making money creating online content. The work is there, it is yours for the asking. Start writing today and take advantage of this huge opportunity!

My name is Kelly Gammon and I make a living writing. I often get asked what resources I recommend for those just starting out as a freelance writer. If you are ready to make a comfortable full-time living as a freelance writer, I recommend that you check out http://www.freelancewritertips.com now.

Know How to Write a Eulogy

A eulogy is a tribute said in memoir of a loved one who has already passed away. It can be in the form of a poem, a song or just a plain statement. Unfortunately, not every one has a gifted way with words nor eulogies happen in a snap of a finger.

Knowing how to write a eulogy takes certain levels of honesty and sincerity. Thus, it is important that the writer be the one to have had a good relationship with the deceased. This is also because eulogies are usually about personal memorable experiences with the deceased, a celebration of the life of the loved one.

If you do not know how to write a eulogy, it is best to have an outline first. Just like in any writing material, an outline is very important in organizing thoughts and ideas. Likewise, a general theme would be helpful. This is when you would have your speech evolve in. for instance, you and the deceased are friends since grade school. It would be nice to dwell on the good times the two of you have shared, how you two have helped each other out, the trouble you both went and would have went through for each other.

Everyone who knows how to write a eulogy would say that the best eulogies are those that come from the heart. It must be filled with sincerity so as to make the audience feel right through the words. It would also help if love come pouring out from your words.

SEO - A Writer's Perspective

One point that should probably be made clear is that SEO means something different to a writer than it does to other people. For a writer, every word is a possible keyword, and how the phrases link together is a complete road map of what they are trying to say. In my own work, I see it reflected and coming back around in everything I do online.

I write news spoofs when I have the time. I've learned to recognize which topics draw more readers, and have compiled a spoof news list of popular keywords. Surprisingly, people want to hear about Bigfoot, the Loch Ness monster, and Peak Oil more than any other topics I've found. Political satire flashes briefly in the pan, and is then forgotten, but our modern world's most popular legends echo from coast to coast, and are quickly reprinted in nature blogs, or whatever genre they may apply. Bigfoot landed an article on the front page of Yellowstone news, and witchdoctors selling chocolate have graced respected pagan websites.

I use SEO to lesser degree at .modern Dislogic, But still lace each commentary with a spattering of what I hope are vital connections. Again, peak oil is a a popular topic, but gods and mythology are also well-liked. My problem is that this isn't the direction I wanted to go. In my zest for creating articles that centered around a particular subject, I've accidentally modified the basic keywords which identify my site, and that has cost readership rather than gaining more.

I have been online so long, and participated in so many writing projects and hobbies that my online nickname of Illusnist is itself a search term. Ideally, the company should have gotten this branding, but my online writing precedes my copywriting by so many years that it is easier to use my nickname to build relevance for the company. Either way, as long as the optimization for search engines is performed carefully, my relevance as a copywriter will grow along with the traffic brought in for my clients. Each new project I accept from some online project board will be another tile laid on the path to recognition as an accomplished writer of web content.

Such is the way for writers and search engine optimization. Our first goal is to get in front of readers, and our second is to focus those readers on the aspects we wish them to see. That I am a writer is apparent from simply Googling my name and looking at the search results, and the way they link back to me. It has been my decisions online that have shaped the way I appear to the world, not in some quick overnight frenzy, but through years of actually being focused in my niche, and participating in areas that highlight my talents.

Am I an SEO professional? Hardly. But guess what? That guy who wants to charge you hundreds of dollars for an easy SEO job isn't a professional either. The science is too new, the groundwork is still being laid, and the rules change every time search engine algorithms get updated. There are no guaranteed results, only guaranteed methods, and those can be had for free.

Do you realize that you can write your way to riches online? As the saying goes, content is king online, and you can use your own content to profit. In this article you'll discover how to get writing jobs via your writer's Web site.

1. It's All About Content: Help Buyers Find You

Let's start by looking at how the Web works. People search for information and products online. They search using specific words and phrases. For any site's page to come up in the search query results, it must include the words the searcher typed into a search engine.

Therefore, think about your writer's Web site and the keywords (search terms) you need to include for buyers of your writing to find you.

Would you include the words "writing jobs" on your site's pages? You probably wouldn't, because you wouldn't attract buyers.

Would you include the words "content writer" or "medical writer" on your site's pages? Chances are that if that describes what you do, you would, because it would help buyers to find you.

2. Building Your Name: Add Material to Your Portfolio to Show What You Can Do

New writers tend to think of their Web site as a brochure, rather than as an ever-expanding hub of their writing activities.

The words on your site are vitally important: they have two functions. The first is to get buyers (traffic) to your site.

The second is to enhance buyers' credibility and trust, so that they hire you when they're looking for a writer.

Here's a big tip: have FUN on your Web site. The more your personality and enthusiasm show through on your site, the more likely it is that buyers will bookmark your site, and will hire you next time they need a writer. Buyers are looking for YOU.

Believe it or not, it's hard to find competent, reliable writers. Finding such a writer (you) is gold to buyers. You can turn one-time buyers into steady clients, bringing you thousands of dollars of income every year.

So add content to your site -- as much as you can. Add pages, and add your portfolio too. Your portfolio is social proof that others have hired you.

3. Create a Marketing Plan for an Ever-Increasing Income

Your site's traffic is the barometer of the health of your writing career. No matter how small your traffic is initially, it will grow. You'll start with five visitors a day, then 50, and then 500. Once your site's traffic hits 500 visitors, I promise you that you'll have more buyers of your writing than you can handle.

So create a marketing plan to increase traffic to your site, and do one marketing task a day. It will pay off beyond your dreams.

Should You Update Your Website Copy?

We all know the old adage "If it's not broken, don't fix it"-but there are plenty of website owners who don't heed that sage advice. As a freelance copywriter, I regularly have clients who contact me asking to rewrite web content that's only been up for a few weeks or months. When I ask them their reason for wanting to update it, the answers run the gamut:

"We were #7 in the Google search results last month, and now we're #15."

"I'm just tired of looking at it."

"It's been up there for six months. Seems like it should we should mix it up a bit."

The reality is that none of these reasons is necessarily grounds for a web copy overhaul. A short plunge in organic search rankings may not have a noticeable impact on leads or conversions. And by making a change to achieve one goal (seeing your business' name "up in lights" in Google's Top 5) you may end up sacrificing some other key initiatives. Plus, with the well-known fickleness of search engines, Google and Yahoo may end up having less of an appetite for your new website copy as they did for the old version. And remember: just because you're tired of your web content doesn't mean your customers are.

Instead of gutting and replacing content that's still earning its real estate, why not have a professional freelance writer create some keyword-rich web articles for publication in online directories? A cost-effective Google AdWords campaign can also help give your web presence-and your conversions-a boost.

Of course, there are instances when a web copy update is warranted:

  • Your conversions have taken a hit. If a lower percentage of your visitors are converting into customers, it may indeed be high time for a content refresh. But before you assume your website copy is the culprit, consider any other recent changes that may have impacted your users' experience.
  • Your offerings have changed. If you've added or removed products or services, your web content should certainly reflect the change in your business' direction.
  • In light of new market developments impacting your industry, new keywords have recently been popping up in your analysis reports, and you want to incorporate them into your web copy.

Whatever you decide, be sure to test as much as possible. Copy updates shouldn't be an "all or nothing" endeavor. Tweak a little here, sneak in a Google AdWords campaign there, and test the heck out of it. Just be sure to keep a version of the old copy so you can revert back if it doesn't work out as you'd hoped. And if writing isn't your forte, enlist the services of a trained freelance writer to give your content a professional touch.

Some Quick Tips to Make You a Better Press Release Writer

It's relatively easy to create a press release. In fact, you can spend 20 minutes in front of your computer, start pounding on your key board and you'll be able to produce a press release or two. However, if you aim to create something that will grasp an audience, you will need more time and you will need to discover these 6 proven secrets so your copies will come out as compelling and enticing.

1. Create an outline. It is very important to ensure that your content will flow smoothly. Before you start writing, brainstorm and list down all the things that you would like to discuss. Then, decide how you want them to flow throughout your content. This simple task will help you make your press release sound organized because it will not let your ideas go off on tangents.

2. Deliver only newsworthy content. Before you write your press release, ensure that the topic you would like to write about is newsworthy. You cannot write just about anything under the sun. To capture the attention of your readers, you need to ensure that your news is worth their time and energy. You may talk about the recent changes in the leadership ladder within your company, events or charity that you are sponsoring, milestones that you have reached, recognition that you have received, and your partnership with other companies and entities.

3. Deliver timely information. Avoid writing about something that has happened two years ago. Nobody will surely want to read about something do not have impact on their lives. Keep your eyes open on new issues or new activities that involve your company. If there is nothing newsworthy to share, then don't write a press release.

4. Focus on one topic. If there are so many activities within your company, ensure that you discuss them separately. Don't try to gather and put all the information on one press release as this can cause information overload to your readers.

5. Use hyperlinks. If you are distributing your copies, ensure that you insert anchor texts on your content. These will take your readers to your website so you can boost your page views in no time.

6. Leave your contact information. Although you may have answered all the who, what, why, when, and where questions of your readers, they might still other concerns in mind. Make it easier for them to contact you by leaving your email address, phone number, website's URL, and fax number at the end of your copies.

Be a Successful Freelance Writer

These days, anybody can be a writer. With the amount of freelance writing jobs available over the Internet, you don't even have to set a foot out of your house to earn some extra cash. And if you're hardworking and skillful enough, you'll probably earn more than many day job workers.

Freelance writing jobs are not as daunting as they used to be. Offers can range from anything and everything under the sun. In fact, there are plenty of people looking out for writers right this very moment.

And if you hang around long enough, you'll learn how to avoid basic mistakes and spot golden opportunities. Here are some helpful tips to succeed in freelance writing.

Surf the Net and Be Observant.

You can start making money by typing freelance writing jobs on your favorite search engine. As impossible as it is to believe, that's how easy it is. Of course, most of the links will then lead you through blogs, forums and Web sites.

As mentioned earlier, topics to write about can range from anything and everything. It could be something as common as travel, or something as technical as manipulating graphics.

Stick to What You Know.

Aside from their obvious popularity, blog articles are also easier to write. They're less formal and use a more easygoing tone.

For a beginner, it's the best place to start your career as a freelance writer. If you're fond of cooking, you can look for a blog that focuses on that subject. If you're into marketing, there are hundreds of blogs out there which deal with your interest.

Accept Payments.

Payment transactions are usually done online. You'll need to set up an account at a credible online money transferring company or payment processor in order to receive your money.

Personally, all I earn from my freelance writing jobs are wired through Paypal. It's easily one of the most popular and credible companies out there. If your country is not included in Paypal's list, another good alternative would be 2Checkout.

Freelance writing jobs may seem easy-and they are-but they also require proper working habits. You might think that it's okay to slack off since you don't exactly have a superior watching over you like a hawk; however, how you work can determine where your next paycheck comes from.

If your employer decides that he or she likes your writing style as well as your work habits, you'll be the first person he or she will call up the next time a project pops out.

The Writer's Affirmation

All beginning writers dream of someday being published. It's the ultimate affirmation that says, "My work is good; I was right to believe in it!" However, many good writers give up too soon.

Did you know that J.K. Rowling's first Harry Potter book was rejected 10 times before finally being accepted by a publisher? Canfield and Hansen's Chicken Soup for the Soul was rejected (according to Canfield) more than 130 times before being picked up by a small Florida publisher, and we all know what happened after that! Dr. Seuss's first book, And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street, was rejected by 27 publishing houses, and Seuss (Theodor Geisel) considered burning the manuscript. Fortunately, he didn't. Jane Austen's first novel, First Impressions, was rejected in 1797. She revised and retitled it (Pride and Prejudice) and finally sold it to a publisher who printed it in 1813.

If you've tried and tried, and don't want to wait 16 years, as Jane Austen did, self-publishing is a viable alternative. Many famous authors self-published their first books, including Tom Clancy, Zane Grey, D.H. Lawrence, Mark Twain, and Richard Nixon. Richard Nelson Bolles, author of What Color Is Your Parachute?, was a self-publisher.

Does "self-publishing" mean that an author writes, designs, prints, and promotes his book all by himself? No, of course not. It means that the author pays a publisher to design and print his book. He writes it and must promote it himself, sometimes with the help of a "promotion package," which he can purchase from the publisher. Self-publishing is often, but not always, a last resort for authors who have had numerous rejections from publishers who pay royalties. These authors believe their work is worthy of publication.

Vicki Lansky submitted Feed Me! I'm Yours to 49 publishers who turned it down. So she self-published it and sold 300,000 comb-bound copies. Bantam Publishing-attracted by success-then bought the paperback rights and sold another 500,000 books! That book was worthy, and the author knew it.

Karen E. Quinones Miller wrote Satin Doll, a book that was rejected by publishers 35 times. Quinones Miller decided to self-publish her book because she was convinced it was good. Through smart marketing and promotion, she personally sold 28,000 copies. That attracted Simon & Schuster Publishers, who then bought the rights - for six figures! - and republished it. Following that, Quinones Miller wrote four more novels for Simon & Schuster, all best-sellers.

M.J. Rose self-published her first novel, Lip Service, in 1998 after many rejections. She knew she was a good writer. Ten years later she is the celebrated author of 10 novels, including the acclaimed The Reincarnationist and, more recently, The Memorist.

When faced with multiple rejections, self-publishing can be an effective and satisfying option; and, as in the cases of Lansky, Quinones Miller, and Rose, an in-your-face affirmation! Don't give up.

Janet Litherland is the author of the novels, Song of the Heart, Vanished, Chain of Deception and Discovery In Time, as well as 10 nonfiction books, several collections of music/drama-related scripts, and numerous articles and stories for national publications. As former associate editor of Florida Hotel & Motel Journal, she contributed 78 feature articles to that magazine. She also has taught college extension courses in creative writing and has served as a seminar leader for writers' conferences. For more information, please visit http://www.janetlitherland.com

Spiritual Growth and the Gift of Confusion

Although it is often distressing to feel confused about what next step to take on your spiritual growth path, the mental state of confusion is actually a higher state of consciousness than being certain of your beliefs and spiritual principles.

Feeling confused or "lost" is actually a signal that you are about to be given the opportunity to take a big leap forward in your spiritual growth. That is, you are being given the opportunity to become even more of your Authentic Self, living your life On Purpose, while experiencing more Joy and less struggle in your life.

Confusion is a red light that is telling you to STOP! LOOK! and LISTEN! It is telling you that you are reaching a crossroad, a place where a vital decision will be made. The decision you make at this crossroad will either move you forward or set you back, or as is the case with a railroad crossing where one does not heed the signals, you will get run over!

The gift of confusion is that it creates an opening for you to look at things in a new way. This confusion can be a catalyst to wake up to knowing more of who you are at a spiritual level.

(As an aside, it is good to remember that not making a decision, is the same as making a decision to stay with the status quo. The problem with that tactic is if you are not making a decision about what you want and taking action to claim it, the Universe will give you leftovers . . . cold leftovers . . . ugh!)

Here are 5 tips to move through confusion:

1. Acknowledge that the confusion is a good thing. It is a gift that is moving you closer to being your Authentic Self where you can experience more joy and less struggle in your life.

2. Make some quiet time to contemplate and formulate a rich and juicy high quality question that will lead you out of confusion and into greater understanding of who you are and what your purpose is. ("Why me?" is not a rich and juicy question.)

3. Carefully crafted high-quality questions produce enormously useful high-quality answers.

4. Rich and juicy high quality questions contain the following elements:

- They are focused on the solution, or desired outcome, not the problem. For example: "What actions can I take to bring peace and harmony to this situation?"

(An example of a not-so-high-quality/problem-oriented version would be: "Whose fault is this and what is the best punishment for that person?")

- Rich and juicy high quality questions almost always start with "what" or "how" and are crafted around creating a desired outcome, as opposed to "why" questions, that are usually focused on examining what went wrong and trying to prevent it from happening again. (This sometimes falls into the category of locking the barn door after the horse has been stolen, or crying over spilled milk, if I may use a few well known clichs.)

- They are created with certainty that you will receive the answer, usually in the most delightful, and magical ways.

NOTE: Answers come from all kinds of sources: billboards, a song on the radio, an off-hand remark from a friend, dreams, personal insight/light bulb moments, and so on.

5. You must have distraction-free quiet space in your life to recognize the answers when they come. Create quiet space by driving in silence once in a while instead of turning on the car radio. Occasionally find a quiet, secluded place for lunch instead of meeting friends in the company cafeteria. Take time for a soaking bath instead of a quick shower. You get the idea.

If you set your intention to create quiet space to hear answers, the Universe will provide you with practical options.

The best thing about confusion is its ability to move you forward. The danger is in getting stuck in it by not seeing it for the opportunity that it is for spiritual growth. Not opening your mind to seeing things in a new way will keep you going in circles until you get a bigger wake up call to get your attention.

The bigger the wake up call, the bigger the "ouch" it contains. It is so much less painful to pay attention early on!

Take this 5 tips to heart and put them into action. I guarantee your fog of confusion will lift and you will be on your way to living your life On Purpose, with more Joy and less struggle.

Did The Indians Have It Right

Dating, Money and Spiritual Products That Worked For Me

It all started with a girl.

My girlfriend and I were dating for almost 2 years when her best friend phoned me. She had to confess to me that my girlfriend recently cheated on me. Twice.

You would think that I would freak out, break down in tears or perform a casting audition for the sequel to Anger Management, but an unexpected coldness simply filled that space. I thanked my friend, assuring her she did the right thing, and headed out to my girlfriend's place.

In retrospect I think the reason for the coldness was that something snapped that day. At that point the relationship was straight Jerry Springer material. I was being used and abused and just allowing it to happen again and again. This was the final straw.

During the drive over to my girlfriend's house the emotions started flooding back. It was a textbook tragedy as far as break-ups go. A week before this little - which I'm sure registered about an 8.2 on the Richter Scale - we compiled a CD to play in my car containing songs we both liked. I clearly remember throwing her with this same CD, hoping for it to shatter, which would've been fantastically symbolic of how she shattered my heart. It only bounced of her head.

Today I honestly feel very bad about throwing the CD.

For the next 2 months I was in a very dark place. First there came the Great Divide, where our mutual friends apparently had to choose which one of us they would continue being friends with. Almost all of them chose her. Then there came the withdrawal symptoms. I was emotionally addicted to this girl. After all, we really committed to this relationship on an emotional level as far as fights went. I was sure that she already had a new boyfriend. I was sure that she already had forgotten about me completely. These types of thoughts ate away at me, until I was sure my life had come to a meaningless end.

Little did I know it was just about to start...check out what I discovered was possible by going here: turnmylifearound.com

Turn My Life Around is my way of giving back to people who are as lost as I was three years ago. After three years of self-help research about dating, making money and spirituality I review the products that actually helped me turn my life around.

Suggestions For Lifes Problems

My Spiritual Journey

The journey to simplicity, began with me.

I had been at a regular time I have with some local pastors. During our conversation, the senior statesman of the group told us a story from his life. Warren is 85 years old and still touching lives with the hands of Jesus. In the late 70's he was attending a conference with several key church leaders from around the United States. Warren had achieved success as a pastor, leading one of the largest churches in his denomination. During the conference, Warren felt the Lord pressing in on him with this question: Am I the Lord over every kingdom of your heart? Warren, immediately responded by acknowledging the Lordship of Christ over every kingdom of his heart. Warren, said his answer was not sufficient and the Holy Spirit continued to press in on him with the question. Warren said from that day forward, he never looked at scripture the same again, he was no longer bound by his training and experience, but walked each day a new with the Lord.

As I left our meeting, the Lord turned the question on me. As much as I wanted to tell the Lord that He was the Lord of every kingdom of my heart, I also knew He wouldn't be asking if that were true. As I drove along, I asked the Lord to truly become the Lord of every kingdom of my heart.

For the first 3 months, the Holy Spirit would point to situations in my daily life and ask? Can I have that?? He also showed me that I was keeping a protective barrier around my heart. As I allowed Him to remove the barrier and surrendered kingdoms, I found myself entering into a new level of intimacy with the Lord. This new level of intimacy was most noticeable in profound visions and revelations of truth in things I was seeing. I also began hearing the Lord's voice at a much deeper level than I ever had.

Around March of this year, I was praying when the Lord first gave me an overview of Simplicity. I was preparing to make a return trip to India at the time. The Lord began to point out some things to me in my observations of the Indian church. It was through these observations that I realized that the power of Christ was so visible in these churches, because of the simplicity of the structure. There are no youth trips, choir specials, etc? The Indian church service is made up of prayer, proclamation of the word and worship that is led from the heart not from a songbook. This thought was profound and was reinforced during my return trip to India this spring.

It was also during this time that the Lord began to move me to the next level of His refining process. The Lord impressed upon me that I had surrendered all to Him, that I would surrender of my own volition. Unfortunately, there were still kingdoms in my heart that I did not even know existed and others, that I would not willingly surrender. So the Lord posed this question to me: ?Will you let me lay down the unconquered kingdoms of your heart in my strength and power.?

During this time, others spoke word of a calling on my life at a new level. This prophetic word was spoken over me on 7 different occasions by 7 different individuals on 2 continents. As the Lord conquered kingdoms in my heart, He also began to ask me if I would surrender to this new calling. One morning as I was praying at our church, the Lord came to me with this question: This is the last time I am going to ask you, will you accept my call or are you going to forfeit it? I was horrified by the question, but afraid of a call I didn't completely understand and couldn't verify in my experiences. I didn't want to forfeit, so I said yes, Lord. Immediately the Lord led me into an extended period of spiritual warfare under the direction of the Holy Spirit. Within a few days, my partner pastor from India sent me a report of testimonies from his church that more than validated God's call on my life.

Upon my return from India, the Lord moved me out of a teaching mode into a role similar to an Old Testament prophet. For nearly 6 weeks, the Lord was having me call the people of our church to brokenness and repentance. I watched week after week as only about half of those before me would respond, other would watch and others simply walked out the back door. At the same time, the Lord took me another level deeper in my journey with Him. The Lord showed me that there were no other Kingdoms in my heart requiring His Lordship, but there were things in my life that needed to crucified and destroyed. The Lord asked me this question: Do I have permission to put to death those things in your life which are not of the Spirit? I said yes. The last part of May was miserable, I ached and didn't know why. I told the Lord that I regretted taking this journey, because it hurt so bad. Fortunately for me, God was there every step of the way. Through a co-worker He made this statement to me on May 27th (my actual birthday): You gave me permission to perform a heart transplant on you. When I was cutting your fingernails you didn't mind, but now I have your chest spread apart and I am removing your heart of flesh and replacing it with the fullness of my Spirit. As I heard these words, I knew I could make it. Two days later the Lord gave me a message letting me know that the heart transplant was complete. He affirmed this message by allowing me to be His vessel in 12 different instances of divine healing over 6 week period. The result of these healing miracles was a doorway to discuss the power and presence of Christ with friends and family who had been unwilling to acknowledge to Him in their lives.

The power of simplicity was now a daily reality for me. It wouldn't be long, before God shook up my context.

Different Types of Wellness

Wellness is an expanded idea of health. There are different levels of wellness in your life that don't have to do with your physical health. True wellness is determined by how you live your life despite your circumstances. Living a healthy life is not just about the physical you have mental, emotional and more. If you aren't healthy in these areas as well then chances are you're probably not happy either.

Physical Wellness

Physical wellness is our most obvious wellness. Usually when you ask someone how they are feeling you're talking about their health. This is our easiest way to relate to people. Physical wellness consists of eating habits, exercise, staying away from harmful habits, doctor's visits, just having respect for your own body and keeping it out of harms way. How you take care of yourself everyday will not only effect your present but your future as well.

Emotional Wellness

Emotional wellness like physical wellness is another that will affect your everyday life. It will either make your day more pleasurable or more difficult depending on your circumstances. Emotional wellness consists of optimism, trust, self esteem, self acceptance, self confidence, self control, healthy relationships, etc...

Emotional wellness as you can see has a lot to do with self. If your not satisfied with you, then figure out what you need to change for YOURSELF and start taking steps in that direction. If you're not happy with yourself you will have a hard time with a relationship with someone else.

Learn how to get in touch with yourself to explore how confident you are with you. Identify your struggles and try to find solutions. If you feel like you can't handle it yourself then get some help from a therapist or a friend.

Intellectual Wellness

Intellectual wellness is to have the ability to have an open mind to learn new things. To think outside the box and try problem solving. Intellectual wellness also includes a sense of humor, creativity, and curiosity. An active mind is healthy to your wellness it detects problems, finds solutions and directs behavior. You will never stop learning with an intellectual brain.

Spiritual Wellness

Spiritual wellness has many different meanings to people. Some people believe in God, others in science, meditation, etc...

Spiritual health means to possess a set of guiding beliefs, principles, or values that give you meaning or purpose in your life. It gives you the capacity for love, compassion, forgiveness, joy, and fulfillment. When you have this it gives you peace which helps you deal with anger, fear, anxiety and more negative feelings. With some religions it helps people form bonds with others because they support each other in groups.

Spiritual wellness helps bring people together it gives people a common bond and especially helps during times of struggle. No matter what it is everyone finds spiritual wellness on some level.

Interpersonal and Social Wellness

Developing social skills is important to your health. Being alone for anyone can make you depressed. We need to have people in our lives to love and be supported by. Developing interpersonal wellness means learning good communication skills, which allows you to develop the capacity for intimacy.

Social wellness requires participating in and contributing to your community, country and world.

Environmental or Planetary Wellness

Environmental threats to health are ultraviolet radiation in sunlight, air and water pollution, lead in old house paint, and second hand smoke in indoor air. Wellness is us taking part to help our environment recycle, throw garbage in the garbage cans; learn how to protect yourself against hazards.

All six of these wellness continuously interact with each other in your life. Maintaining good health is a dynamic process, and increases your level of wellness. When you develop one of your wellness it usually has an effect on another. For example, if you started working out then not only are you helping your physical wellness but your emotional wellness as well because you would start to gain more self esteem. Going To Heaven Or Not

How Can You Look at the World Wide Economy Crisis From a Spiritual Point of View?

Epidemic fear and panic are spread around the globe these days, as a result from the financial world situation. Is this the end of the World? Will the whole economic structure fall apart? What does a Psychic Law Of Attraction Life Coach think?

Nothing so serious has happened in the global economy since the Depression in 1929 when several rich and mighty people committed suicide as their fortunes disappeared.

Looking back in history, such things happen now and then. The financial structure moves forward in wave patterns which have been researched by scientists and are well known by serious traders. It is the breathing pulse in the financial structure.

As a Spiritual Life Coach specialized in the Law Of Attraction, I see today's global financial situation as a mirror of the way majority of people breathe, in their stressful lives. The breathing in the financial system and the breathing within each and every human being on earth is connected to each other in a common breathing pulse. I venture to say, that the global crisis is directly attracted from the collective breathing in humanity today

A stressful person who breathe short and light will eventually have difficulties to breathe out. She will breathe in, in and in, not being able to fully breathe out. This is what happens with more and more people today. And that is also exactly how the financial situation has developed during the past years.

In order to stop this, a crisis is taken place. The underlying meaning is to heal and to re-establish a peaceful breathing pulse within the economy, as well as within each and every human being on earth. The sooner you and everyone else reconnect to a peaceful state of mind, the sooner the global finances will get back to normal again.

If you want to be a part of the global economy healing process, investigate your own breathing and start calm down your own mind by deep and slow breathing. As soon as enough people are doing so, it will have an immediate influence on the global situation and calm down the World Wide Panic, as a result of the powerful Universal Law Of Attraction.

Here is an example of how you can establish a calm and peaceful breathing quick and easy:

Take a deep breath while counting to 4.

Hold your breath while counting to 12.

Breathe out while counting to 8.

Repeat at least ten times, three times daily.

If you are having difficulties doing this, you probably need it the most...

And remember, each and one of us that breathe calm and peaceful will reflect peace and calm back to the global financial breathing pulse.

Thank You! I Love You! All Is Well!

Angelic Art - Alternative & Spiritual Healing Therapy

As more and more alternative and spiritual healings are being studied and documented they are
finding that all forms of upliftment heals the body, mind and spirit. Angelic art falls within this
category by uplifting the spirit. I do not claim Angel paintings create physical healings. Angel
paintings soothe the emotions and create a more peaceful atmosphere helping today's society
deal with the stressful world we now find ourselves in on a day to day basis.

Angel paintings are unique. They are a form of healing art. Angelic art uplifts, motivates, comforts,
soothes and inspires. Each painting holds it's own inspirational energy and you do not have to be
a " Believer" for this to work. These paintings work on a deep emotional level, clearing, releasing
and comforting the emotions and melting the stress of the day away. Inspiring within each individual
that gazes upon them their own God like image and this is how the healing takes place. A place of
beauty and perfection is remembered by the Soul." Divine energy is at work assisting alternative and
spiritual healing through Angel therapy in the form of fine art.

My Angel paintings for example are personal, whether it be in one of my collection series or for a
specific individual or relationship or group. Upon completion of each painting, I know that it is indeed
meant for someone and their heart and soul will instantly know and respond to the Angel and the
energy before them in the painting. My Angel art is a gift, given to and through my talent by Divine
Angels guidance instructed to them by a much Higher Source. The Angels oversee and instruct every
brushstroke and detail of paint color and every brushstroke within each painting ... they truly know "Who"
the painting is for and the message it portrays. You can read more about how the paintings are created
on my Sharae's Studio page. These paintings are truly a "Living" source of Divine Energy. I have witnessed
some pretty amazing emotional releasements, and reactions when people have gazed upon them and truly
responded with their soul !

Each day, more and more documented proof is coming through from the medical fields proving that Art
and Music are truly a recognized healing tool to be used by everyone. Whether it be in participation,
gazing upon or listening ... Art heals. This has always been known in the Alternative and Holistic
medicines, but now is being used more and more in the traditional medicines opening up a whole new train
of thought causing many, many positive results benefiting all. I look forward to it becoming an everyday
occurrence ... just as a standard prescription is used.

'Healing With The Angels', by Doreen Virtue who also authored Angel Therapy, " teaches esoteric and
practical methods that help you work with your Angels in healing your relationship, family and body issues."
Angel or Angelic art is an extension of this therapy.

Indigo and Crystal Children and the elderly respond to the Angel Paintings with a knowingness of love
and illumination that comes from within them. Sometimes the reactions have been as though they are
recognizing an old friend.

I am a level 2 Reiki Practioner and I incorporate this energy into my paintings. Reiki is Japanese for
Universal life - force or Spirtually -Guided Energy. Rei, Univeral all-energy compassing and all - knowing,
and Ki, life - force energy, the same as Chi in Chinese. This is the energy that binds all living things together
in unlimited amounts. With the guidance and wisdom of the Universe, this is the most powerful form of
energy healing.

I find the Angels like working with this gentle ever flowing energy and some Reiki practioners that do hands on Reiki healing treatments actually see the Angels working with them in their treatment sessions.

Angels are so much more than we realize. I have found them to be a great source of information. They have
a wonderful sense of humor and are always there when I need them consciously or unconsciously.I can almost
hear the chuckling in the background as I sit here writing. I am an Angel artist not a writer, but as usual it
seems the Angels have a different agenda so I might as well go along with it. They have gotten me out of my
comfort zone more than once. They are my pep rally, they are my comfort through everything and my mentors
and they never steer me away from my chosen path my destiny, I am sure of it.

The Angels just expand it and broaden it more than I could ever imagine when I started this quest
so many years ago of helping and uplifting humanity with the love and the message of such definite
light there can be no mistaking where the source of this energy comes from The Divine.

I only hope that people respond with their hearts in todays times as there is so much love and
compassion and healing just waiting for all. Let down the barriers and just accept the love that is so freely given
and the help, healing and assistance that is just there for the asking. Every moment of everyday we are not alone,
we dont have to carry the burden that was never ours to carry. Release the pain, release the baggage
that you carry to the Angels just think it and it is done. It is that simple. The healing begins.

If you want proof, ask for the proof it will be given this I can and will assure you. When you truly
act and react from the heart your lives will blossom with more than you could ever imagine
more understanding of this world will encompass you. It is all right there and it can be something
so simple as a gentle whisper or the viewing of Angelic art that will confirm in your heart and knowingness
Angels are so much more than messengers.

Unlikely Beginnings - Writing Your Memoirs

So you're just out of college, have no money, no insurance, and you're facing the worst job market since your parents graduated college nearly 30 years ago. You have a way with words and spent most of your college career using them to get yourself into and out of more misadventures than Jake and Elwood Blues did back in 1980. Somewhere between bong rips and paying your mother the $400 you owed her for bailing you out of jail the week you got back into your home town, you had the idea that you might be able to make a dollar or two by writing your memoirs and selling them to a publisher.

Good luck with that.

No one will go so far as to tell you that your story is anything less than 100 percent unique when they send you a rejection letter. In fact, chances are good that your rejection letter will be a form deal. On the other hand, the friends of yours who decided to get you to send out that six-hundred-page manuscript about your sex life and bong-constructing escapades, aren't actually the people who have to read the scrawl you've passed off as an entertaining autobiographical slice of your excitingly conventional college life when you're sending out your manuscript to outside publishers. They might, however, be your primary inspirations and your most loyal readers.

Luckily, if you're determined to write your memoirs, the only thing you have to do is begin writing them. You can worry about the long list of rejectors after you've told the story, as clearly as possible, about the time you accidentally gave your sixteen-year-old sister a pot brownie when she was visiting you during her junior year Spring Break. The real risk will be soon after the stories you've put together as memoirs are read by your parents.

Article Marketing For Extra Money - Three Easy Ways to Increase Your Income by Writing Articles

Want to make some extra money? Maybe quite a bit over time? Read on and discover how writing easy ezine articles can help you accomplish your goal.

I got the idea for this article yesterday while talking with one of my coaching clients. She's retired and on a fixed income. We had been working on something else, but suddenly, I had a light bulb moment.

She's smart, funny, and very articulate. So I asked her how she would feel about writing articles for money. At first, she was skeptical. After all, "writing for money" sounds like a pipe dream. Like many others, she tried to get published at one point and never had any success. And the idea of actually getting paid for it? Ha!

Well... she had never heard of article marketing before. And I proceeded to fill her in.

Here are three approaches to making money with articles (and of course there are many more, but these three will get you started):

1) Get paid for your articles by the publisher

There are websites that will pay you for your articles. Not a whole lot, mind you, but if you would otherwise be sitting in front of your TV, why not type up some articles instead. It can add up. And for my client, who has an income already, it's perfect -- every dollar she makes is a bonus and will make her life easier and more enjoyable. One of the sites that pays for articles is Associated Content.

2) Get paid by promoting products through affiliate marketing

Many articles you see in article directories like EzineArticles.com have recommendations in their resource boxes. Why not join them. You recommend a product, and if people buy it, you get a cut of the action.

3) Write articles for others and have them pay you for your writing services

Yet another way to make money by writing articles is by writing for others and have them pay you directly. You can promote their products or services more for example. And you can even add extra services including submitting the articles to directories.

Find Time - 3 Tips For Power-Planning Your to Do List to Manage Your Time

Finding time to get everything done gets a lot easier as you strengthen your To Do List. Use Power-Planning to get off to a strong start and keep productive.

By realigning your time choices as your needs and your environment change, you work at top capacity. Here are 3 proven time tips that get results:

Power-Planning Tip # One: Pull your To Do List together the night before.

  • A good To Do List that you make the night before provides you with a powerful springboard to dive into your next day. Your focus is directed, and your overview protects you from colliding into commitments you might have otherwise overlooked.
  • Schedule time between projects to transition.
  • Retain To Do Lists from a few days before. Circle the items that you transfer from one day to the next for special attention.

Power-Planning Tip # Two: Use your own personal rhythm to schedule your day at peak productivity.

Explore how you can coordinate your rhythms of productivity within your work environment.

  • When do your best ideas come?
  • When is your focus best for details?
  • Use your time to showcase your strengths.
  • Consider coordinating your rhythms with those of your colleagues, either to collaborate (during shared peak periods) or to work sequentially at demanding tasks (where energy levels are divergent).

Power-Planning Tip # Three: Cluster tasks with matching requirements.

Cluster tasks that are most effectively accomplished in similar environments.

  • If you need uninterrupted time for several similar projects, schedule them together. (Request that you not be disturbed for several hours, if possible.)
  • If emails and phone calls need to be returned within a certain time, schedule them together within a specific time frame. The more you cluster tasks to support your effectiveness, the better you can channel your energy.

As you make each new To Do List, compare it with the previous few. How much more are you accomplishing as you use these tips? Note your progress at the bottom of your list; it's excellent reinforcement. Build on your success to increase motivation to find even more time.

What is your next step to develop your productivity and continue to find time?
